A boy named Hillary and a girl named Donald walk into a bar...

That's funny enough right there. No punchline needed.

Now days a boy named Sue ain't out of the ordinary.

Only boys, no record of any girls. Mention that on Facebook and there will be 10 girls named Rye next year

:lol: Actually "Rye" is a short name for Zachariah, which was Rye Miles' (the real one) father's name and his father was called "Rye. Everyone thinks it's because he drank a lot of rye whiskey, which very well could be true!! I like it myself!! ;)

Sgt. J. T. "Rye" Miles Arizona Ranger, cattleman, Sheriff of Tucson, Constable of Benson,Az and later a prison guard at Yuma prison.

How about Clarabelle (my grandma's name)?

Or John (my other grandma's name)?

I used to think my Daddy's folks was strange. His Daddy's name was Francis and his Mama's name was John.

How about my Dad's name….Severio….he wound up being Sam here in the USA. He came here from Italy when he was 10 yrs. old.

My mother's name was VIRGILLIA…she was born on Christmas eve (Virgin Mary) The teachers insisted on calling her Virginia!!!

Coworker just had a son and names him Declan (Dek lan) Being that they are whiter than while, I expect that the poor child will be called DeClan and that he won't enjoy it.

A good Irish name, Declan.

St. Declan of Ardmore, 5th century.

Troparion, in the 4th tone.

Thou wast a bright light in Ireland before the days of Saint Patrick,

O holy Father Declan.

Thou didst travel in Europe and return to found a monastery

where thou wast ever kind to the poor.

We praise thee, O glorious Hierarch.

Declan is an old and revered Irish name.....http://nameberry.com/babyname/Declan

And apparently pretty popular, too - No.112 in 2015.
