I'm officially a retired fishing, guitar playing, banjo picking, cowboy action shooting, muzzleloading bum!

Yesterday was my last day in the office. No idea what comes next other than taking up full time bum status.

My wife is so happy. Oh, wait, she just told me not to think I can sit around here and bother her all day. Hmm... Guess I may have to go shooting since it's too cold to enjoy fishing.

Congrats, you'll find you have plenty to do & wonder how you got anything done when working.

Congratulations!!

we'll expect to see you more often next year.

Ricochet, that's the plan my friend, that's the plan!!!

Today, went to the gym to work out a bit, came home spent a couple hours working on a flintlock I'm building, read through the wire and now will go spend some quality time with my banjo.

I think I may like this retirement gig.

I retired December 22, 1999 after 40 odd years with the City as a Purchasing agent.

I didn't know what busy was until I retired. Been on the run ever since, 'cause -"He's retired. He has lots of time!"

Now, I'm just plain tired.

I would have never thought the words 'quality time' and 'banjo' belong in the same sentence.....:lol::lol:

I retired in Feb 2015 and I have been busy ever since... working on rifles, yard work, etc.....

Its good to be busy.
