Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727
Somehow I have lost my Brownells screw drivers. I know that in the past you have kept a list of numbers for Brownells screwdriver tips. I kind of figure some other folks might be interested so maybe you could post them here. What I am looking for are; Ruger Vaquero Marlin 1894 & 1895 Colt SAA Uberti 1873 Hope you can help, Marlin
Johnny Dollar
Lost your screw drivers! That's horrible! I'd be lost.... anyway, I know Chili did have a list at one point but can't find it. Brownells has a few sets listed for certain types of guns. I think buying one of the starter sets will have most if not all the bits you will need. I bought one of the sets with almost all the bits except the thin ones and for the most part, I only use about six or seven bits on a large variety of my guns. Chili Ron
Howdy, I find the old list: 180-3 210-3 240-3 340-3 270-2 180-2 and the smith and Wesson gunpal set which is 120-1 210-2 240-5 150-3 210-4 240-6 and which ever handle(s) you like. I have a chart from some where that list magna tips vs brands of cowboy guns. It is more than I want to do here. A lot of tips are usable on several with the 180-3 being most versatile. The Brownells folks can be helpful if you call them. These kits can be very helpful and small easy to pack and not too expensive. Thanks again to the Aardvark Kid and his shop for getting this together. If you need one particular gun selection post here and I will try to check back later. I believe non brownells handles will work fine. Best CR ps a brownells catalog might be helpful if you have so many different guns. And some tips are just a little different from each other. Some folks might not want to buy a tip that wont be used much and is just a touch wider. If you are breaking loose a screw put in by Bonzo the torque monster...well......
