rapid river
Is it sass legal to wear three holsters, two strong side and one cross draw. two guns.
Grizzly Dave
Page 11 of the Shooters Handbook bullet point 2 would seem to indicate that it is not. Main match holsters must be located one on each side of the belly button and separated by at least the width of two fists at the belt. (Note: Pocket pistol and Derringer holsters are not “main-match” holsters.)

PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
Just curious, why would you want to? The last time I heard the question (a few years ago) someone had the idea of drawing from the X-draw; then reholstering that revolver back into the "strong side" positioned next to it. That would facilitate doing so after transfer to the off/weak hand without requiring twisting it back into the cross-draw...with less concern about the possibility of the muzzle pointing up range. I have no idea why the OP asked if it was legal. ...but the rules forbid doing so.
Chili Ron
Howdy, Interesting idea, I don't remember seeing it before. It wouldn't LOOK WESTERN. And we need to LOOK more western. Just my opinion, worth whatever. I just love the pard who looks like he or she stepped out of a tv or movie western. See Open Range. Best CR ps I think wristwatches should be left in the horseless carriage.
Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770
What about, Josie Wales? Even though I've never done it, I've thought about it. I know that conventional wisdom says stage two pistols, but if I did it, I'd like to holster them all.

Stump Water
And we need to LOOK more western. Then we need to leave one pistol/holster, the shotgun belt and the '97 in the horseless carriage too.
El Hombre Sin Nombre
Then we need to leave one pistol/holster, the shotgun belt and the '97 in the horseless carriage too. Well said. Whenever someone says something doesn't look western, the response should be "you mean it doesn't look like what you believe to be western based on the movies you grew up watching and nothing at all resembling facts?"
