Well Rye is a happy man, this morning.

Detroit did not stymied, the Indians.

Yankees did give Sox some assistance.

Man did Francona (Indians mgr) blow it last night! He decided to rest ALL THE REGULARS and went with all bench guys, a couple that haven't played hardly at all this year, and hand Detroit a victory! Nice job Terry! You helped Detroit advance for the wild card and slimmed down our chances of home field advantage! I gotta think that the "regulars" were itching to get into the game last night and kick butt!

Well the Sox took their division, sort of pathetic but it is a win.

Man, Shawnee....we got to work on your black moods...

The BoSox went from LAST in 2015 to FIRST this year - a spectacular turnaround!

The Sox and the Cubs in the Series! Two cities where baseball is still played on grass, under the stars, with the crowds cheering for great plays no matter which team wins!

Baseball!!!!!

Loophole, I figure, I am pretty optimistic.

Honestly, losing to the spankees, but taking your division. That is lame, and the whankees, swept them to boot.

But I really do, LOVE MY BELOVED BOSTON RED SOX

To be quite honest, I didn't expect Boston to play this well. Has been some good games, this season.

These worst to best and back around again. Can be hard on a persons system.

and the Germlins are just waiting...to derail the train

Looking more and more like Toronto and Baltimore in the AL wild card spot

and Mets and Giants in the NL wild card games.

Mariners are sure working for that wild card spot. All tied up with the A s in the 8th,

Detroit lost today as I understand.

well this is it, the final regular season games.

went by, about as fast, as a 102 mph fastball.

But time to see some (hopefully) really good baseball.

Badger,Too quite...

Rye, see you in Cleveland... (sounds like a sitcom)

Would have liked to have had home field advantage, but ...Sox have to get their act together

The O's or the Jay's are going to be tough on the Rangers.

Guess they are going to retire #34 (Ortiz) next season. Now that is quick

He said he was tired the past several days (3 days of parties at Fenway)(they know how to party)

Would like to have the Peter Max poster of Ortiz, but @ 1034 pesos, that is an 1873.

Guess, someone gave him a gold plated bat. Why waste gold or a good baseball bat?

Okay McGrutt and Boston, we're ready for ya! This is gonna be good! Boston must be worried about this they're putting their ACE on the mound for the first game!! Is there any other pitchers that Boston has besides this Porcello dude ??? :P

Not worried at all. Porcello is a good candidate for the Cy Young. Yes, the Sox have other pitchers and they are not on the DL.

Mookie Betts will pull us through. Hope he gets MVP

Rye, at least Cleveland, has the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. :)

Hope the feathers fly!!!

No worry, we got Kluber, Tomlin and Bauer and a strong bullpen including Miller, lights out when he pitches! Boston will be eating bean soup when they leave C-Town! :P

Baseball will not be the same for me, after Vin Scully gave his last broadcast on Sunday. 67 amazing years; I listened to him so much in my three PCS s in California from 67 to 76. ( in SEA 70-71) What an amazing career! Cheers, Hoss C.

AND they are off and running, Toronto is up 1/0 in the top of the 4th.

Whoops, knotted up at 2 all in the top of the 7th.

Oh boy, bottom of the 9th still tied 2/2. Sounds like it is a barn burner.

Looks like we take on the Jays starting Thursday.

Isn't this a rematch of last year??? :o

Hold on. Guess we don't get a wild card team in the National League.

Mets and Giants are all tied up at zip/zip in the top of the 9th.

Bottom of the 9th and Not tied any more

Rye, save me a seat, I am sneaking in some beers and a really big pizza.

Franconia, wants to beat the sox owners, I think they did him wrong. Then they hire Booby Valentine,???, what was that about?

Should be fun

I heard Francona left on fairly good terms with the Bosox. Him and John Farrell are pretty good friends. Napoli and Rajai Davis are former Redsox, they're gonna be showing off!!! Good luck getting that pizza and beer in, then security guards are some tough hombres!

Indians in 4??? ;)
