Jim No Horse
Come on out and join us as we shoot Saturday the 17th in a sad goodbye to our little town. We are building a new facility down the road a bit that is going to be everything we had and more. We would be very pleased to have you shoot with us and come see our plans for the new range. Don't forget to wear your Aloha shirt. Jim No Horse
Farr Ranger
The caballeros match is tomorrow 9/17/16. Registration starts at 7:45, safety meeting at 8:45, and hammers down at 9:00. Summers dress rules. Hawaiian shirts encouraged. I will be wearing my sharknado hat. We have a great new range under construction for October. This is the last match at flat creek. Say aloha! Two Spurs
Will see you there. I'm going to wear a grass skirt with a coconut top. .............. Well............. ....... I was going to come out............. but it might be better if I went ahead and poked my eye with a stick while I'm sitting in the air condition. There are some things that cannot be unseen. Might as well come in out and shoot.

Abilene, SASS # 27489
It was a hot one, but a fun one. I wanted to shoot clean for the last match at Flat Creek, but had a rifle miss on the first stage when I didn't wait long enough for the smoke to clear in the morning calm. So I decided to just shoot as fast as I could for the rest of the match...and had no more misses! On the other hand, my car's fuel pump (I think) decided to give up the ghost suddenly when I stopped at an Arby's in Marble Falls on the way home. Towing a car 40 miles gets expensive. But it would have been a lot worse if it had happened at the range!
Hoss
Great match. Kinda sad to say "aloha" to Flat Creek, but I'm betting the new range will be better. And more likely to have some breeze! I did manage a clean match! Abiline, if you need some funds to pay the wrecker I'd be happy to take those engraved open tops off your hands. I was admiring them in your cart, best looking pistols I've ever seen! Was good to see Jim No Horse, prayers up for him as he preps for surgery Tuesdsy. Was also good to see Phantom back shooting. He and I have had words over the years, but I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with him today, and glad he has recovered so well from his wreck.
