Here's one of 'em This is a Pkg of 10 .38-40 (.38 WCF) Centerfire Dummy Rounds (not the current Pkg of 5 on the Brownells site). Used for checking Timing, Operation, Feeding, Extraction and Ejection of all .38-40 guns. "Manufactured to exact specifications, including diameter and length dimensions, weight and balance of factory loaded ammo, these DUMMIES have the proper functioning characteristics to reliably check magazine feeding, action timing, extraction and ejection of all guns."
