WTB H&R Stainless 444 Handi Rifle

As long as it doesn't rust like the blue cast, I don't care too much if its plated. I'm pretty sure its just a matte brushed casting that makes it look as such. To be fair if you let it rust and kept the chamber and bore clean it would still last forever. The blued reciever is very paintable because its never gets hot.

The company website is still up but they are out of business, no more handi rifles. Been this way for over a year.

If I could afford the Dakota Arms Sharps 444 Marlin, I wouldn't look twice at the Handi.

The only two Handi's I've seen on Gunbroker still holding value for a little while were the stainless 243 and 44 Mags of any kind. Both of which you'd be better off now with a Stainless CVA Scout. I just bought two Ultra hunter 444's, one for $340, one for $320 like new.

I'm still interested in everyones except Concho, ain't figured out why he is responding yet.

Well yeah I am thinking (I know I know very dangerous) that big green shut down the single shots several years ago not just one year ago. Funny thing about the website is way down in the bottom left corner it says "copywright 2016"?? Why would they update the copywright when they haven't shipped any guns in a good while certainly not any in 2016?

Hey, I'm all filled up on this product now.

Thanks to the folk who were ready to deal on here and other forums. I never expected to secure them for such wonderful prices.
