Max Payne
I run my timer with a 2 1/2 sec delay so I can practice by myself. Lately, when I run a string, when I play it back, the 1st shot shows a big number like 756 or 6XX. And, when I advance the shots, it shows the big number plus whatever the next shot was. When I 1st finish the string, the display shows the overall time correctly, but it's when I play it back that I have the problem. I've fooled around with it, powering down, back up, etc. When it first started doing it, it would do it a few times, then act right. And, I have seen other timers do this during warm-ups & such. Has anybody seen this & know what's going on? Thanks.

Blue Ridge Ranger, SASS # 31232
I had this problem with my pact timer. Usually did it when cold. Warmed the battery and was ok. Then I changed the battery and have not had a problem since. Hope this helps. Blue Ridge Ranger

Max Payne
Great replies: I liked Marauder's the best when he said I'm probably too fast for my timer. I'm sure that's it, so I'll slow down some. That could also possibly help me hit some targets? Moose was correct that I mistakenly placed this in the classifieds, instead of the Forum, This is the 2nd mistake I ever made. I'm gonna be real careful, as I don't intend to make another. And, I'm gonna save up for a new battery as soon as I get all the bullets, powder, brass, cleaning supplies, spare parts, & reloading accessories I need. CoffinMaker said my timer doesn't like me. It has been acting like it has an attitude! If it wants a new battery, it needs to be nicer!
Max Payne
Here's the follow-up: Changed the battery. No change. I then changed it back & forth between Instant & delay a couple of times, & it healed up. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the productive replies & the non-productive but extremely funny replies also!

Cat Brules
Were I you, I wouldn't trust it! Take the batteries out at night so it doesn't steal your wallet and drink your whiskey!
