I have heard that shipping in 2 separate boxes labeled CAR PARTS have been shipped to Kalifornia.

I did it a couple years ago.

I could not find an FFL on my end to ship to CA so I did it myself through FEDEX overnight.

Cost $135.

Lesson learned. Last time I did that.

I would NEVER intentionally mislabel a shipment.

They ask me to do that all the time when I ship stuff to Europe. They want it marked as a gift to avoid taxes.

If they catch ya the trouble ya gets into ain't worth it!

Posted

Hey Prescott! When did trouble ever bother you? 😎

Hope all is well, miss seeing ya at the shoots, be good pard.

Bumping a great pair of pistols.

Posted

If I hadn't just bought a pair I'd be all over these.

Posted

Time to go back to the top.

Posted

Somewhere in the back of my mind I was secretly hopeing they won't sell.

Looks like I just might get my wish.

So this my last bump, if they don't sell they return to the safe.

Well I'm bringing them out again.

the "wanting" is the easy part!

I see that you're in PA also. I;m in SE part but get up to Scranton and Hamlin.

I have a friend looking for a rifle in 45 Colt. Figured I'd mention that in case you have something available.

Up around Scranton.

meesterpaul, sorry, and I don't want to sound snobbish but I only sell to SASS members.

If a gun I list on the SASS classifieds doesn't sell than I take it to my local gun dealer and sell it on consignment. That way even non SASS members have an opportunity to buy it.

Well we might as well put them back up top again for awhile.

I can't believe these haven't sold yet !!!

Dealer cost is near $500 @ plus shipping and tax, this is a smoking' deal !

I have 4 already or these would be mine !

BTT for a great set of pistols....

FFL's shipping to California go through about a 1 or 2 minute process online on the CA DOJ website before packaging and shipping both revolvers (these may be easily disassembled) in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box (about $17.00 plus insurance of about $5.00??). So, the revolvers may be shipped inexpensively by the buyer by paying a FFL to do it for him.

FFL's who don't understand how to interact with the CA DOJ website can be quickly walked through the process while doing it in real time by the buyer's FFL in California. It is, as they say, a "no-brainer".

I can't believe they havn't sold yet myself.

They are as you say a very reasonable price as well as real beauties.

Oh well you can't force people to take a good deal.

You can lead a horse to water etc., etc., etc.,.

Why not try it again?

Posted

Someday they will sell. Just have to wait it out.

Did I mention that these pistols shoot real 45 Colt (long Colt) and not black powder. Unless u want to load your cases with black powder.
