Yellowstone Vic SASS#32968
Are the small H&R revolvers similar to the H&R model 632 legal for pocket pistol side matches. The cylinder does not swing out they have a pin that is pulled and they are removed from the gun. Thanks for the help Vic
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
YES...a swing out cylinder is not allowed, but not the "base pin" models are...same as tip-up/down revolvers. edited (thanks, LEP!)
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
YES...a swing out cylinder is allowed, but not mandatory. I think some words are missing. Page 18 of the rulebook provides, "revolvers with swing out cylinders are specifically not allowed regardless of caliber."

Yellowstone Vic SASS#32968
Thank you PaleWolf and Larsen for the help. I thought the base pin models were acceptable but wanted to make sure before I spent my money. 16 years of cowboy shooting and 0 experience with pocket pistol. And Iver Johnson actually made them all the way up until the 1970's. They made a 5 shot pull pin 38 special, too.
