Captain Bill Burt

Iron Cowboy going under the knife

Recommended Posts

My middle son, the Iron Cowboy, is going in to have a tumor removed from his right leg this afternoon. He's pretty calm about it, but ole Dad is a bit nervous. I'll post an update afterwards.

Any time they throw out that word "Tumor" it makes a body leery.

Standing up on my knees for the Iron Cowboy and for yourself as well!

Tell the Iron Cowboy that ole Widder sends his well wishes for a good and speedy recovery.

And that I hope as he progresses in his shooting skills, I look forward to seeing him become a great GF someday.

Prayers for Mike and.... Dad.

Prayers up for the Docs to have the Lord guiding their hands. Dad, you gotta keep it together, as your son is counting on ya. I have no doubts you're up to your part. (Small as it may be).

I hope Iron Cowboy bounces back quickly. I also hope you and Sharron recover. Any time one of your kids get sick or hurt, it takes a toll on the parents.

Delighted the Doc said he got it all!

Sending to pathology is routine, they do it with all excised tissue, don't let that increase your anxiety.

So far the news is good.

Still standing up on my knees for him and for you-all!

Thanks for all the support! Michael would be out shooting hoops right now if I would let him. He's limping, but has taken only one pain pill since surgery yesterday!
