Cimmarron Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 That's a great price, I would love to have it but I just bought a 38/357 model, so no go for now. If no takers, I might swing it next month. I just love the 1866's, someone should jump on it.
SGT. QUINCANNON, SASS #32999 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 With this had been available 2 years ago when I was looking for this exact model. Ended up with a '73 instead. BTT
Matthew Duncan Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 With this had been available 2 years ago when I was looking for this exact model. Ended up with a '73 instead. BTT Buy the '66 and retire the '73 to backup?
Prescott Palmer Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 I think take it's time for this to go back up.
Prescott Palmer Posted May 9, 2016 Author Posted May 9, 2016 Do I mention that it takes 10 cartridges.
Fort Reno Kid Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 B T T for a cowboy I might add that a rifle model of the Uberti 1866 is my "go to" rifle for CAS. I shoot others --Uberti 1860, Uberti Henry, period Winchester '73 and '92, so they won't feel unloved -- but the 1866 remains my favorite. Good shooter in addition to being drop-dead gorgeous. For those of you Pards who use 45's as your pistol caliber then a 45 rifle is an obvious choice. Only one caliber to reload and less chance of "accidentally" mixing in a 38-40 or 44-40. Good lookin' piece of iron! Fort Reno Kid
Prescott Palmer Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 Bring it back up for those who might want it.
Prescott Palmer Posted May 14, 2016 Author Posted May 14, 2016 For those who havn't seen the new lower price
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Do I mention that it takes 10 cartilages. Mr. Prescott: I'm a preacher, not a doctor, but if your rifle takes all ten fingers (cartilages) to shoot, that may be why no one is offering to buy it.
El Hombre Sin Nombre Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Mr. Prescott: I'm a preacher, not a doctor, but if your rifle takes all ten fingers (cartilages) to shoot, that may be why no one is offering to buy it. You're cracking me up here.
Prescott Palmer Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 You could be right. I'll go in and edit it to take noses not cartilages. Thanks for the heads up!
Prescott Palmer Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 Here we go again back to the top. I polished it and cleaned the innards, almost as clean as a whistle. After this boost I'm going to let it run it's course, so if you have a FAIR offer to make do it now.
Prescott Palmer Posted May 21, 2016 Author Posted May 21, 2016 Carbine still for sale. Entertaining all FAIR offers.
Rolan Kraps, SASS # 24084 Life Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I sent this listing to a buddy of mine who is looking for a .45 Carbine.
