Raining in the morning here and now it's turned to snow, with more scheduled for overnight.

Guess who just had the snow tires removed and the summers put back on?^*(^$^_)&(^&#@

Oh well, as the saying goes around here: "You don't plant anything until after the 24th of May! (Queen Victoria's birthday, a holiday up here)

Due to our proximity to the mountains, we don't put out annuals until June 1st. Got stung with frost too many times planting right after Victoria Day.

I remember being down at Fort Abraham Lincoln, ND and they said that May 17 (called Custer Day) was the 1st day for planting crops in North Dakota.  The 17th of May 1876 was the date that Lt Col Custer and the 7th Cavalry left Fort Lincoln heading west towards the Little Big Horn River.

Howdy Imis Twohofon ;

Pard how far are you From Johnson City Tn. ?

And do you have some roads that are fun to cruise Two Up on my Honda Shadow ?

Looks like almost all our Cowboy Shoots are a No Go this year except the local ones .

But it seems I can Cross the boarder South and Tour on my Bike .

Jabez

Johnson City is about 5 hours East of Middle Tn. It is in the Appalachian mountains, home of THE Best Road in TN, The Tail of the Dragon. Of course there are lots of turns and twists between here and there. Also The Natchez Trace starts in Nashville and goes to Natchez, Mississippi for 444 miles of easy winding two lane with low speed limits, limited access and almost NO commercialization along the entire route.

Now that the commercial is out of the way. I would love it if you could swing through Murfreesboro at some point. If you happened to be here on the first or third Sat you could shoot with us at Wartrace. And we could put you up at the house. Or if you would prefer your own place Murfreesboro has lots of good hotel rooms.  OK now Im excited you might come visit. PM me for a phone number

Imis  Pard If I do come down your way I will for sure stop by for a visit ...

How is Blue Boy ?

I saw a map of a couple of Rides in TN. and thought of you right away .

The way I see it right now is Option #1 Trailer the Shadow down behind the Class "C" Motorhome.

Option #2 Or Ride and Hotel/ motel it ... This could take a while as 300 miles a day is more than the Boss will go for ...

I'm thinking Option #1 is what is most likely... Got Shot #1 for COVID a couple days ago ....

I'm going to Pm you for your Phone # , what is the best time to call ?

"De boss" as in Premier? Hope to see you in Granum 1st weekend in July if the darn province opens up soon. We get out to the local range at least once a week to scratch our trigger triggers and she has come out of retirement and gone back to work as a nurse on a casual basis.

You got to shoot 6 stages?

You lucky basket!

We're still closed for matches, although we have one scheduled for July 10.

Just hope we don't have to cancel again!
