Classic Old West Arms Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 A later model IAC 1897, SN 090426, holds 6 for Wild Bunch, action has been smoothed, not to be mistaken for the new Cowboy Model as far as action is concerned, feeds out of the mag tube good, cycles and ejects very well. Slight handling marks on the wood but mostly to the finish coat and not into the wood, some wear marks on the mag tube from the action being worked. Has 1" rubber butt pad installed. Over all a pretty good gun. Price is $425.00 delivered to your FFL.
Marshal Hardtack McCardle Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 What do you mean not to be confused with new iac cowboy model? I'm confused
Outlaw Gambler Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 This is an IAC model with the serial number beginning with A09 and was built a few years before the newest IAC Cowboy models that have serial numbers beginning with CB00. This one (A09) does not have the newest CB items such as the double cocker. However, this A09 model is extremely smooth and very well suited and ready for cowboy action shooting and holds 6 for wild bunch.
