Double Duelist grabs for first pistol with left hand. Gun fails to fire.

Shooter realizes that his SSA's that have been recently retrofitted with ATF required smart gun mods are reversed and he picked up the gun trained to recognize his right trigger finger.

What are his options at this point?

Just curious; it pays to be prepared.

Double Duelist

Pistols shot; one hand with one pistol and other hand with other pistol. Doesn't say how pistols should be holstered.

If cocked, pull trigger to lower hammer, Transfer first pistol with hammer down to hand with proper trigger finger impression and continue.

He could just point his finger and say BANG.

If this 'law' has enough support to be retroactive, then SASS, the NRA and all other competition venues will be gone.

Knucklehead has six months left until his party is totally out of power in the Congress and WH. He can say what he wants, but he does not have enough time to get a meaningful executive order in place for new firearms, much less all of the guns that would be otherwise grandfathered.

Hold gun with left hand and pull trigger with right finger.

Would not work for a duelist. This could.be even worse if he were a gunfighter

Request that the TO allow you to decock and/or declare a malfunction set the revolvers down then pick them up with the correct hand.
