Maybe you ought to start with: what gun is this and is the camo a factory applied finish or was the camo added by somebody later?

Wood or fiberglass /plastic stocks? Are the stocks camo? (They can be replaced pretty easy on most modern guns. May be easier than trying to strip and/or coat a second time)

Metal camo covered too?

A quick way would be to just cerrocote (or other spray finish) everything that is camo now, and color it matte black. If the coating on the gun is compatible with the new coat you will be applying. Which is a big IF.

The metal could all be fairly safely bead blasted to remove the original coat. Then you could spray the metal your color.

All that probably is $300+ to change out, unless you are good at recoating. Be easier and cheaper to keep looking, most likely.

Good luck, GJ

As hard as a lefty would be to find , and this one is a good deal , might be easier to just live with it a while. If it still is bothersome after a while , then ponder on finish changes.

I shoot a Benelli M2 and it works so well that I wouldn't care what color it was.

Good luck , Rex :D

How about painting over the camo?

I'm also getting with this package deal a M2 20 ga...Also left handed...Looking around on line, I could change many parts and live with the rest...Just don't want to set it down and can't find later...
