Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
Kirk: I found the following from the 2008 Remington Catalog: The ammo is listed as their Managed-Recoil STS Target Load with the following specs: Item. No. RLSTS1285 in 12 gauge 2 3/4 length 1100 FPS 7/8oz of shot in an 8 1/2 shot size. I also found this item listed on several online websites. Hope this helps. Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Catalog from 2008 means nothing now. You won't find that stock number RLSTS1285 anymore, I'll bet. They may have made some in 2008, but no longer. Try the stock number I gave you the first time - RMSTS1218. 1 ounce load at 1185 FPS. Several on-line shops are out of stock, but at least those seem to still be in production. Remington tends to not load shells that won't run in most semi-autos. Too many returns and complaints. The Winchester LNLR gets lots of complaints from other shooters than Cowboy shooters. Just too weak to run some of the autos. Good luck, GJ
Oklahoma Dee
Remington no longer makes the 1100 fps STS shotshells.
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
I'm a AA man. Reload the hulls until I can read the morning paper through them...in low light...without my glasses. I resize them each time I reload mostly out of habit--they shuck fine in my SxS. While don't save much reloading I like the fact I can tailor the loads for my bad shoulder/rotator cuff. cr
