Prescott Palmer Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 SOLD SOLD SOLD 1 pair of 1875 nickle plated army Remington style revolvers in 45 Colt. 7 1/2 inch barrels These are still for sale. The 1st revolver has the blade style front sight and dark handles. I'm selling these cause they just weigh too much for me. Each revolver weighs approx 2lbs 10oz. Though with that weight there is minimal recoil. The barrel is imprinted with "STOEGER-ACCOKEEK-A. UBERTI-ITALY "1875 OUTLAW model-CAL.45 There is minimal wear on the tip of the barrel and on the edge of the front of the cylinder. I bought them used and to the best of knowledge they have not been worked on. The 2 revolver (or the 3rd and 4th picture) pictured with a post style front sight. The barrel is imprinted with "NAVY ARMS CO.RIDGEFIELD N.J. MADE IN ITALY" "MOD.1875ARMY CAL.45 There is a UBERTI proof mark stamped on the bottom of the handle strap. The hammer spring on this one is a bit heavy. It can be lighten a bit by backing off the spring tension screw. The handles are a lot lighter in color than the other pistol. There is very little evidence of wear except for the front sight which looks as though it has been filed a bit. I have not done any work on this revolver. $725.00 for the pair.
