Dorado
So, like I said I'm trying to make my own gunbelt. It's going to be a slim Jim with a right hand straight draw and a cross draw. I've got the holsters cut and I'm waiting on more leather to line them but I was wanting to know if there's anything I should know before I start gluing them together. I've got the back of the holsters marked and I'm planning on gluing in the liner in sections starting in the middle and working my way out and up. I'll do the mouth last and I'll try to turn the lip out as I go to widen the opening. I haven't started on the belt yet. Once I get them lined and sewn together I'll sand the roughness out of the edges and burnish them. So, what do y'all think?

Dorado
Are you sewing by hand or do you have a machine? Hand sewing. I can't afford or really want a machine. I don't do enough to warrant it. I measured the holes and they all line up. I'll be adding a welt to give my pistols a little slack and to protect the thread. Got his holes pre punched looks like a gand awl job. Me too. Leather machines are really Pricey! Leather sewing machines are ridiculous! Then again they are a lot better than cloth machines.
