Doc Flimshaw Sass# 73310
That Ian is quite a shot. Not. He's generally used to shooting something that fires around 500 rounds per minute or more, 1873 too slow
Colorado Coffinmaker
Nice Japanese '73. Now has anyone actually seen or touched a Japanese '66 ????
Tom Bullweed
The 1866-2009 has to do with the duration of Winchester, not a Model 1866. This looks like a Model 1873 with engraving of nickeled sideplates and receiver.
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
There is only one 66 at the Winchester booth. It is fully engraved and costs $3,000.00+. I'll talk to them tomorrow see when or if there is going to be a more reasonably priced production model. Took a picture but don't know how to post it from my Iphone. Colorado Coffinmaker
Looking at the best pictures of the "new" 1866 (so far) it would appear it is a Japanese '66. The extension rod has all that extra Japanese stuff in it. Coffinmaker
