Noz Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Me and Miss Lorrie baked a ham between Thanksgiving and Christmas. When I cleaned the bone I left 2 or 3 pounds of ham on the bone. I gots me a big pot on the stove with 2 pounds of pinto beans and that ham bone just a simmering. In about 2 hours I'm putting some cast iron pans full of cornbread batter in the oven and we's gonna be eating like kings. One of the toppers is Blackwater sent me a jar of real live sorgum molasses. It'll make that cornbread want to sing. Don't even think about horning in 'cause I can see 250 yards or so down the hill to where you'd have to come off of the highway and the 44-40 is loaded and ready! Quote
