The decision is for the LH-05?

The Kirkpatrick LH-05 seems to fall between their 04 and the 09 models just right for the features that I want in a pair of holsters. The 05 seems to be pretty much the same as the 09 but lacking the size adjustment screw below the trigger guard and having a wider belt slot. I plan to order the holsters on Monday BUT do have a couple of questions that perhaps someone here can answer? For several reasons I only want to purchase just the holsters, already got to many belts and ammo slides. I have searched their web-site and can not find much in the way of individual pricing, do they they sell the components to their rigs individually and does anyone know the price of individual 05 holsters?

 

Since several of you guys have told me that you have purchased multiple variations of the LH rigs I would appreciate some reassurance that I am not missing any difference between the 05 and the 09 that might cause some regret? There is no price difference between these two models so just a matter of which is the best model?

On the Kirkpatrick website , Click on the LH rig of your choice , and a place that shows "build your rig" or something of that nature will show up. By using that you can isolate each holster and the belt for individual pricing. As far as I can tell when I was looking a month or so back , the LH rigs are the only ones that it works with.

Sometimes they will have show demo's around at a discount, or minor color glitches (also discounted).

I have bought a couple mismatched holsters that with a little work look good together.

Thanks guys, they should be opening shortly and I will try calling them then. Right now they are advertising $50 of on $250 or more. With a birthday coming soon I plan to place an order for myself and grovel for a qualifying gift from the family also!

I just ordered aetup for my S&W copies if that goes well then I get a pair of holsters for thr rest I. Brown.

In the end, after a brief conversation with the phone lady, I went with the '09 holsters and was told to expect a five week wait. The '09, in brown, should match up better with one of my existing belts. I can not believe how much extra waist line has shown up since Christmas OR perhaps my belts and paints have shrunk!
