Dusty Boddems Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Pack plenty of ammo and your rubber ducks we are shoot'n in the morning and wild bunch is the game! We won't shoot WB again this year.😏 Dusty Boddams. Don't forget BAMM guns!
Griff Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I'm not sure I can get there in time.... don't wait on me!
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Dang, I'm sure I can't get there in time. But the BAMM rifle just got cleaned and more loads ready to go. You folks have fun down there! Good luck, GJ
Dusty Boddems Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Thank you GJ, it would be a pretty good drive for you but if you but if you do find yourself out this way a large time is promised. We shot 2 BAMM stages and we shot GAMM (garand action military match ) just because well , we all play with the garands and think they are great so after BAMM finished we shot garands. Shooting lead at around 18-1850 with a gas check results in a rifle that's fully functional throws the case clear and ends off with a most satisfying "ping". Dusty Boddams
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 And 8 round stages, huh? "The best battle implement ever invented" - and that was from a tank commander who didn't like 1911s. GSP Making my trigger finger itch. Good luck, hope you were able to hit 'em all today. GJ
Dusty Boddems Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 GJ, actually we did it with the aftermarket 5 round clips thinking that we could break it into 5 shot sequences and shoot exactly like the BAMM rifles. It worked of course it was different and lots of fun. I shot an 8 round string on various sized targets, the old battle gets on target fast and has a great set of sights! Shooting a garand at speed is a neat experiance. No wonder your trigger finger started to itch ! GJ happy new year! Dusty Boddams
