Bad news to hear that Jim Clark has passed awY.

Right now I'm holding one of his Springfield 1911 carry guns that he fully worked over, including his "Meltdown" treatment. Jim Clark is a talented and successful man. An asset to our way of life. Rest In Peace, Jim.

Like his Dad, one fine fellow.

God Bless and give peace to family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting both himself and his dad several times at Camp Perry in my Bulls Eye shooting days. I had a "Clark" long slide 1911 45 cal. built and shot for many matches. I still have a target from a registered shoot hanging at my reloading bench that shows I shot a 100-5x 50 yd slow fire with that gun. I still own a hard ball gun Clark built and now I use it for Wild Bunch!!

They were real approachable people and treated every one fairly. RIP

Both Jim Jr and Senior were good friends. I had shot many matches with Jim Jr and his dad also. Like others who have posted here I have 6 1911's that they had built for me over the years. One was just finished a few months back. Jim was a fine person and you can go the bank with what he told you. He will be sorely missed in the shooting world. But most of all I lost a friend.
