It is neither nickel or blued but rather a florescent/transluscent turquoise color with a slight purple hue. Atleast that was the only option I had when I got mine. AND, NO..... mine is not for sale. I use it as a backup in case my JEDI Light Sabre gets the dreaded 'Light Sabre Jam'. ..........Widder

Kajun I heard this does not work on the early reproductions from the Planet Tarknock 6. They are unlicensed copies made with inferior components. Parts will not interchange with current models. Converting to sawtooth waveform will cause them to overheat and cause the testicles of all men within a 50 foot radius to shrink 3 fold, while increasing their sperm production by 37-54%. This can be very painful.
