Subdeacon Joe Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 A fine actress and a great lady. Few could match her.Rest in peace, Ma'am. You have given me many hours of entertainment with your work in the cinema.
Capt. R. Hugh Kidnme Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Looks beyond belief. Absolutely gorgeous. And, the first actress I can recall with humongous screen presence. She could play with the boys in any role. Of course "Quiet Man" will always be my memory of her.
Rye Miles #13621 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Rest in peace Ms. O'Hara, one of the best all time actresses!

SGT. QUINCANNON, SASS #32999 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 She was the las of the John Ford stock company of actors. It's truly the end of a era. That phrase is over-used, IMHO, but it's true in this case. Sleep well, Ma'am, and say "hi" to Duke for me when you see him.
Blackwater 53393 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 She was my dad's favorite actress. Frankly, one of mine too! She'll be missed.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 One of the finest ladies and most talented actresses ever to grace the silver screen.

Dusty Wyatt Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Great lady. Wonderful actress. Rest in peace.
Bama Red Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 One of the finest ladies and most talented actresses ever to grace the silver screen. Absolutely right, UB. When she and the Duke were on screen together, you forgot they were actors and you were watching a film. That ought to be the goal of every actor and is the highest praise I can offer. May she and Duke have a great reunion. An extraordinarily classy lady - she'll be missed.
