Subdeacon Joe Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 In Lee Vining and in Yosemite. There is even water going over Yosemite Falls now.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Good news, Joe. You folks need it. We do too, but not as badly as you folks. I even got sprinkled when i took the trash out tonight. Weather guesser said rain today, but it weren't much.
Subdeacon Joe Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 We had a - not even enough to call it a mist. Felt a few little tiny drops this morning when I took the dog out. Not even enough to get my glasses wet.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 You are just not trying. Do a nekked rain dance in the street in front of your house.
Subdeacon Joe Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 Good lord NO! Don't want to scare it off!

Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 It's been threatenin' to sprinkle on us for the past few days. Yesterday morning when our Firelands Peacemakers shoot started, my blanket lined denim jacket felt pretty good ... 33 degrees. Then the wind kicked up and it got colder and I saw some white flakes of sss ... ssss ... snnn ... (I cain't say it! I cain't! No, no, not yet! No!) But it was the first shoot Saturday I had off since being reclassified as relief operator and I shot anyhow and I come home with a grin on my face broad as two Texas townships! Didn't even get my boots muddy!
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Those Cascades look pretty barren of snow. Might be a trace left at the higher elevations or perhaps it is a trace of new snow. Donno, but they did say that we got snow above 7,000 feet sometime last week. Skykomish river has more water than I have seen in some time, but is still low. Fisherpersons are still standing out there with the rods on high. The Pink Salmon are about done but the Coho are moving in. That will keep the fisherpersons busy for a few more weeks and then the steelhead thingy starts all over again. Who in their right mind would stand in an ice cold river with a fishing rod in hand trying to catch a mythical fish?
Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It poured for a while last night here!
Subdeacon Joe Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 It poured for a while last night here! Good!
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 You are just not trying. Do a nekked rain dance in the street in front of your house. Charlie, what comes out of that fire hose doesn't qualify as rain.
