Noz Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 My daughters fiance's father died recently and the younger would like for me to get his father's rifle in shooting shape. He brought it by today and it is a near mint condition Marlin Model 27S Take down Pump in 25-20. Not a scratch anywhere on the wood or metal and it doesn't look like any screw has been turned. Someone has taken the magazine tube out and I don't know how to get it back in. If it was a junker I'd tear into it but with this one I'll go to my tame gunsmith Monday for his help. Lust is building deep in my soul. Latest manufacturing date is 1932. I won't even take the stock off to find the serial #. Listings on the web go from $375 to $1650.
Reuben McCoy Rankin # 34239 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 You going to shoot it?
