Notso Slim, SASS #67301
I am looking to find pictures, drawings, designs, something related to a case deprimer that operates the plunger with the rotation of a hand wheel. Kind of like a piston and wheel on a steam train only in reverse, turn the wheel and the piston moves. I saw a video on youtube of a hand crank leather sewing machine. It was a singer model 9 and the crank was on the front and not on the side like many others. So I had this wild idea that it would be cool to make a hand crank horizontal crank plunger style deprimer. Yes it is overkill, yes its overly complicated, but when you are a machinist with ocd winter time is a long season.
Brooklyn Slim
While not rotary, this is a hand held depriming tool. http://www.harveydeprimer.com/
Slowhand Bob, 24229
For those with a case feeder, one step depriming can not go much faster. Wait, you could have them drop into the tumbler at stage five!
Buffalo Bill Mathewson, 37826
Notso Slim, When I read your post my mind first went to a trip hammer used for forging. I am sure that a full sized trip hammer would be a bit of over kill. Buff Bill
