Lost Trail Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 My wife was flying from NYC to Chicago that morning. I was home getting our twin daughters ready for school, 1st grade. Trying to keep composed in front of our girls while coming to the realization of what was happening was tough. Didn't hear from my wife until late afternoon due to the overwhelmed circuits and phone lines. Took her 3 days to finally get home by bus. Thank the Lord for her safe return. Cypress Sun Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 This morning as I was putting up the flag, slightly before sunrise, the neighbor across the street had started to walk his dog and asked........"Oh, what's the holiday". I replied "What day is it?". He says "Friday". In a not so nice tone, I replied "Yes it is.....Friday the 11th.....9/11", then I shook my head and walked back inside.
