Hopalong Mac McLin Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 i recently purchased a beautiful preowned Pedersoli Sharps 45-70 and am having trouble with the trigger. According to the manual, the firing trigger should never be less than 3 lbs. after setting the set trigger. I have backed the trigger adjustment screw out as far as it will go without falling out and the trigger continues to be 1 lb or less and is almost impossible to accurately shoot because it fires by merely touching the trigger with virtually no pressure.
