Connecticut Yankee
Hi fellow shooters I have been told that there is a media for tumbling of brass that is pieces of metal instead of corn cob or walnut shells and you use your regular tumbler with no damage to the brass is this is true could you tell me what it is and where to get it. I tried looking it up but could not find anything about it on line. Thanks for your help. Connecticut Yankee
Boulder Canyon Bob# 32052L
You can use stainless steel pins, but they are generally used in tumblers rather than vibratory cleaners as they're too heavy for the vibratory cleaners. Do a GOOGLE search for stainless steel pins for tumbling and you'll come up with several choices like this. They are generally used wet. http://www.cabelas.com/product/FRANKFORD-ARSENAL-STNLESS-STEEL-MEDIA/1801116.uts?productVariantId=3819002&srccode=cii_17588969&cpncode=37-73247927-2&WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03854489&rid=
