Lefty Dude, SASS # 51223
Mark's relocation to the new rehabilitation facility on Monday went well. He is now talking and swallowing more easily. The Left Arm and Leg is where the therapy is needed. When he is able to help himself into a Wheel chair he may be able to go Home. Today the Specialist will do an evaluation and prescribe the therapy and procedures that is required for this function of the rehab. Again, the family thanks all, for the Prayers. For those who would like to send a card or Letter of encourage the new Address is ; Valley View Nursing Rehabilitation 1140 N. Allumbaugh St. Room 115 Boise ID 83704-8716
Chili Ron
Howdy, Ive never met the pard but any friend of yours...... Ive had my turn with hospital and tell him to NOT fixate on getting out. The best thing I did(little secret just between us) was to beg the nurses to take the candy folks bring in for him. Not the whole box but those nice sized chunks of chocolate and nuts and... Don't be funny or strange about it just offer and if they say no, tell them to come back at break time or have some as desert. I garuntee they will come back and he will get a little extra attention and that's good. Hospital time lasts forever. Hours have about 400 minutes. And tv is terrible. Prayers for him for sure. GrubSlinger SASS #36658
I was able to stop by and see Wire. He looked good and we spoke about the La Grande shoot. I'll try to get Cornflakes up to see him in the next few days. It was great to get to spend a bit of time with him. We have spent a lot of fun times at shoots in the past.
