Husband of ex-CNN anchor in gunfight

Recommended Posts

Not sure that I'd have the presence of mind to fight if he caught me nekkid in the shower....

There aren't any common ".35 caliber" handguns, are there? Maybe .357s?

Former CNN News anchor stays in a Motel 6? Must have come on hard financial times.

She sure has every right to be proud of her husband.

No Hiltons along Rte 66 in that area. ;)

Wonder if they LEFT THE LIGHT ON FOR THEM?

And by light, you mean Crimson Trace, correct?

One of Utah's former colleagues... would ya expect less? ^_^

I was thinking that, and doing the math. He turned 18 in '68... And he's a former Special Forces officer.

Probably wasn't the first time he pulled the trigger at a moving target. Bad guy picked the wrooooong room to force his way into.

Anyone else notice the article saying:

where they had placed their legal, .35-caliber handguns

Insinuating both her and her husband were armed.

Just goes to show you.....you NEVER know when you're going to have to defend yourself.

EC

Exactly! There are no safe places.

Had the couple been in a motel in some parts of the country; the headlines would have read...

"Former CNN News Anchor and Her Husband Murdered in Motel Robbery Gone Wrong."

Then CNN would be pounding the news desk for more gun control. When will they learn that criminals DO NOT follow the rules. That's why they are called criminals.

Celebrating their first wedding anniversary and staying in a Motel 6???

Hmmm.......

Former CNN News anchor stays in a Motel 6? Must have come on hard financial times.

I think Birdie hit the nail on the head. Regardless, quick thinking on both their parts and good shooting on his part. He takes three slugs and kills the perp? Good on him!
