irish ike, SASS #43615 Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 On the wire a few months back there was a discussion about an aftermarket magazine sleeve that fits the 38 specials better. I have a worse issue in that I am stuffing 32-20's into the same magazine tube set up for 44 plus calibers. They stack up out of alignment and can cause some issues loading and firing. I started putting in Marlin tubes as a Uberti tube liner many years ago. The new tubes are plastic or aluminum so you don't feel the added weight of the Marlin steel tube as much.
