All Gone to Good Homes - Three Winchester 97s

Recommended Posts

I discovered I simply had too many of 97s. Backups to the backups to the backups is probably a bit of overkill. So, they need to find new homes where I hope they see a lot more cowboy shooting action than they have in the past.

1. Model E SN 962260, 12 gauge, 18 1/2" bbl, 13 1/4" LOP, Take down, with a solid ejector. The earliest 97s had solid ejectors as opposed to the style we see on the modern guns. I fabricated the one for this gun and quickly understood why Winchester changed. There is a lot of fitting required. It ejects as other 97s but the problem with a broken ejector is all but eliminated. You can see pictures and a video of me dry firing the gun here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/y3mi5igg6amhb3l/AAB-Ygx2qJjSAIHqX-zUtsKYa?dl=0

2. Model C SN 85362, 12 gauge, 18 1/2" bbl, 13 1/4" LOP, Take down. Pictures and video can be seen here:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ji853rgbtrmi3sz/AAByXI8fO1e_qJJqSmj22aWua?dl=0

3. Model E SN 511104, 12 gauge, 18 1/2" bbl, 14 1/4" LOP, Take down. Pictures and video can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nespbyhrsg227jw/AAAUT8OCnxkdk1hkxMblfEEna?dl=0

I am asking $350 each plus shipping to your FFL.

I do not check the SASS Classified too often but do stay on top of this email address: eric@ericpmilks.com.

Thanks Bill, not trying to get rich from the sale of my 97s just trying to find them a good home. You planning on going to the Belton match week after next? Harmon Hammer said he just bought 2 cases of sky blue paint so I am in hog heaven.
