J-BAR #18287 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Not cowboy, but Game of Thrones and Outlander are a lot of fun!
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Been watching a bunch of old "12 O'clock High" episodes lately. The earlier ones were the best, in my opinion... lots of errors in later episodes.
Caliope Cupcake #13981 Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 those are good, like Perry Mason and Mission Impossible, too. Hell on Wheels a fave ...and Longmire was great
Reuben McCoy Rankin # 34239 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 A fairly new one thats on at the wrong time for me is Gotham. Think I will try to watch the whole thing some time, might even buy it later. And I watched the first 3 seasons of Justified in a week.
Aunt Jen Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I don't binge watch, but I enjoy NCIS Person of Interest Elementary NCIS Orleans Scorpion Big Bang Theory (sans canned laughter) Bones (when it was on) Numbers (when it was on)

DocWard Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I can't say I really binge watch anything, except as I am around when others do it. For my wife and daughter, it is The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. I will generally glance at it occasionally, then find other things to do.
Russ T. Sites Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Sat mornings amc runs a rifleman marathon, that's what I'm watching now
Aunt Jen Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I'm hearing u all mention shows on Netflix, is it? I haven't done that yet. I could. I know how. Just haven't. It's that much better than broadcast?
Shawnee McGrutt Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 For me it is White Collar, Burn Notice and Castle ( can't explain why Castle, I like it) Will take a look at Gotham, several have said it is good.
Rye Miles #13621 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 BENGE? Wasn't that a movie about a little dog
Free Bird 61147 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Now that Breaking Bad is over, it's The Americans, Better Call Saul, The Vikings. Also later, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Hell on Wheels. I record all of them and fast forward through the endless commercials.
Caliope Cupcake #13981 Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 no pard, that was "Bingy" Jen, Netflix [7.99 mo.] is nice, and Hulu or Amazon instant video, because it's like having your own video store, and you can watch on your home TV, computer, iPad, tablet, smart phone or other device whenever you want. I like to catch up on something I missed, or since I don't have cable, I get to see those shows. They all have monthly fees or individual episode fees like Amazon $1.99 or you can buy the season series of a show.
Yellowhouse Sam # 25171 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Me and Rye we'll just have some Gunsmoke thank ya!
SGT. QUINCANNON, SASS #32999 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Deadwood was so good, I haven't completely gotten over it yet.
Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Let's see: House of Cards Sherlock George Gently West Wing Luther A friend has been coming over every other day or so, he never heard of Hell On Wheels, so we watch that two or three episodes at a sitting. Netflix has many English language series set in places like Norway, Ireland, Wales, Australia, and Sweden that are interesting too
Major Art Tillery Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Right now in Netflix I watch.... Hell on Wheels Longmire MASH 4077 The Arrow The Walking Dead
Rye Miles #13621 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Me and Rye we'll just have some Gunsmoke thank ya! Never get tired of that show!
Guest Milo Talon SASS #23163 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I don't really do that. The closest I have come is watching The Twilight Zone marathons when they show them on holidays.
DocWard Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I don't really do that. The closest I have come is watching The Twilight Zone marathons when they show them on holidays. Oops! I forgot, I used to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathons when they would have them.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Oops! I forgot, I used to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathons when they would have them. Always!!
Lazarus Longshot, SASS #44254 Life Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Oops! I forgot, I used to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathons when they would have them. You betcha! Also, for a mini-marathon (the dang series was cut short!) - Firefly! Laz
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Doctor Who. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Caliope Cupcake #13981 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Doctor Who. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I watched a couple of episodes of Dr. Who and it was entertaining-- the time jumping is good. 3-yr old grandson was here today and we watched The Rifleman so he could see COWBOYS and horses! I started Secrets and Lies and like to catch up on The Pinkertons
Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I'm hearing u all mention shows on Netflix, is it? I haven't done that yet. I could. I know how. Just haven't. It's that much better than broadcast? we've had Netflix for about 2 years and have found it worth $8/month. There's a lot of stuff on there we'll never watch, but enough that it's worth the price. With recent TV series like Longmire, you're a season or two behind. Even tho the third season has been done for awhile, only the first two are available for viewing. The other they do is rotate the movies. They post a number of James Bond movies for a month or two, and them pull them for another 8-12 months only to post them again for a limited time. We find ourselves losing interest in Netflix for a bit because we've seen all we want. But then they refresh the content enough that $8/month it remains a bargain. They don't have any content available from HBO (Loved Boardwalk Empire & Rome) or Fx (Justified), but we're able to get the DVD collections of those from our local library for free. We don't miss cable/broadcast TV at all.
Cofachique Dick Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 A new one I got a kick out of on Netflix is "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." Pretty funny.
Grizzly Dave Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I don't keep up on current shows much with very few exceptions. Quite often a show has been around for several years before I get in to it, then I binge watch the earlier seasons to catch up. Current shows that I try to catch happened like that when I started watching them include Scorpion, Justified, Hell on Wheels, NCIS, Big Bang Theory. Longmire is the exception, I read all of the books before the series ever came out, so have followed that from the start. I also like NCIS New Orleans. Gunsmoke is always good, as is, though to a slightly lesser extent Bonanza. A while back I found High Chapperal on you tube and watched every episode over a week or two. We do have Netflix thanks to my wife and daughter, and I've used it mostly to watch western movies that are lesser known. Many are not the best, but horses, guns, and such are enough most of the time. We had thoughts of letting NetFlix go, but Longmire in itself is enough to keep us on board, and there's enough other stuff to help make it worthwhile. They are going to add an entire season of Longmire at one time, it will be hard not to binge watch it.
