Shooting Iron Miller
Plans for Comancheria Days 2015 are in full swing! You will not want to miss out on this year’s annual shoot. This year marks the 20th year we’ve hosted this event at Stieler Ranch. This marks a milestone in our history. We are very proud to say that Stieler Ranch has been the only home for The Texican Rangers! We certainly have reason to make this year’s event the best ever and as I’ve said before, we want you to be a part of it. Our vendor line-up is quite impressive this year. We’ve had a really good response from a wide-range of folks that will be joining us. We’ll have Lonestar Leatherworks, Old Scyene Dry Goods & Dress Shop, Klassic Laser Works, Michael Elledge Handmade Ammunition Chests, Chili Petin Hats, White Wolf Trading Co., Earthwalkers, Larry Hopewell, Engraver, Sgt. StroDog Western Art Gallery, Rusty Pawl, Grassburr Custom Leather, Charlie Saringo & Tascosa Kid and San Antonio Geneological and Historical Society. We will likely be adding to this list before the event, so be sure to visit us to shoot and shop! Encourage your family and friends to come on out as well. There will be something for everyone! We hope you will make plans to be with us April 9 – 12, 2015! Register soon if you haven’t already! Times ‘a wastin’!
Agarita Annie
As Shooting Iron Miller mentioned this is our 20th anniversary of Comancheria Days. We are so fortunate to be able to shoot at such a historic ranch and we decided we'd go back in time a little, thus the title of our shoot "Shot From the Past". In addition to 10 great stages of Main Match competition we will have a full day of Side Matches including an enhanced Long Range stage thanks to Quintana and also the ever popular Blazing Saddles (Cowboy and 1911 version) and the Shooting Gallery. To add to the look back we have added our own mini-Wild West Show. We are fortunate to have Calvin N. Hobbes and Barbary Coast in our neck of the woods and they will be doing a Mounted Shooting demo. What's cowboy shooting without some mounted shooting, right? We will also have fancy pistol handling by Pistol Packing Paula, unbelievable trick roping by Kevin Fitzpatrick and the famous Luckenbach cowboy poet, Walt Perryman. So if you have already registered, THANKS! If you haven't, what are you waiting for? Registration forms are available on the club's webpage texicanrangers.org See ya at Comancheria Days
