Like I don't care about the politics of my doctors or car mechanics. I had some brain surgery a few months back. Turned out great! Never thought to find out her politics....the surgeon's, that is.

If these people wouldn't go around spouting off about their politics, I might agree with you. But when they make fortunes people like us will never enjoy, being so hypocritical about how they make that fortune, I make it my business not to contribute to that fortune. What would you think if your doctor kept telling you to stop smoking, all the while puffing on one of her own? How about if she spent the time you were paying her for trying to shove her politics down your throat? Maybe telling you that you should sign up for obamacare so that she could make more money, and so could afford to not sign up for it? If that happened to me, I'd be looking for a new doctor. Same with actors.
