They had hunters from New York, Police Officers and Firefighters. 2 of the FDNY were from Rescue 3 and they mentioned that the entire Company of Rescue 2 died in the building collapse on 9/11. Lt. Pete Martin, our own Sidewinder Pete was the Commanding Officer of Rescue 2. His helmet and Turn Out Coat, along with the door of his rig were on display at The Smithsonian a few years ago and it was nice to hear praise of the fallen.
