The Thurmont Rangers are excited to be hosting the 2015 SASS Eastern Divisional Championship.

I am equally excited to be back as the Match Director. (Some psychoanalysis may be forthcoming).

The Mason Dixon Stampede team is working hard to put on a set of the best 10 stages possible. We are a small bunch but highly dedicated to give you an exciting match.

Applications are now available on the Thurmont Rangers web site http://ThurmontRangers.com.

Your entry fee includes our Friday evening "Judges Birthday Party" cookout.

We hope to see a lot of ol' friends as we kick off this new adventure as the Eastern Divisional Championship.

Also available, on the match schedule, is a Wild Bunch mini match and a 3 Stage Blast warm up on side match day.

Dates are October 1, 2, 3, 4, 2015.

Hope to see you there!

We will be there! Chuckaroo has been able to fit a clinic into the schedule. Yee haw!

Cowgirls...start signing up. We are putting a limit of 30 students and I imagine this will fill up fast being that it is the 1st Eastern Divisional. Plus, Chuckaroo puts on a great match, it's a great facility, and great folks up in Thurmont, Maryland.

I put a separate posting on the Wire, but posting it here too.....

Hmmmm 14 hour drive.

Going through hostile anti-gun territory.

Heard they have penguins and polar bears up there in the frozen tundra.

Through? Naw, just going into. The Commonwealth is pretty gun friendly.

Is this pretty close to Route 15? I haven't been through that part of Maryland in a while.

Well Chicken Scatch is coming up from Fla. Any others. As a side note don't feel too bad about the ride Scratch. Chuck has been driving down to your state shoot for very many years. In fact he's the one that turned us on to your great shoot and we just back from our 6th trip. Hope to see a lot of the great shooters / Friends from the south come up. October in Md is usually great.

Stay out of DC at all costs. You can go around it via the Beltway. I-495 will take you to Maryland.

CS,

Take I-95 into Virginia. When you get into decision making time (near Springfield), Take exit 170B to merge onto I-495 N towards Tysons Corner. This puts you on the inner lop of I-495 (The Capitol Beltway) and avoids DC all together. If you use a GPS, it should take you this way.
