Rust Prevention

Dungannon Gunner

I've been using Amsoil mp on my guns for a decade sometimes it's the noy lube the gun gets for years time. I spray my guns liberly with it after shooting when I store them back In to its sock. If it's bp I will clean asap this last time was two weeks later take out sock spray windex with viniger in bore and over gun and cylinder and one patch thru twice once each side for the bore abd one patch thru three chambers flip finish the other three then spray with mp and put in sock. Years ago it took two months to clean them and while it wasn't quite as easie the process was the same. Smokeless unless the carrier is black and sticking or their something wrong with a gun the mp shower is about it until I tear it down for some reason. The exceptions are my ROAs which get a bath in a ultra sonic cleaner minus grip panels of hot soapy water then the Amsoil shower and back to the sock. Every now and then if on of the cartridge pistols been used for bp a bunch then they might get a bath also if I remember. But the main point is the mp shower then stored in a gun sock that's was treated.

I figured eezox would do better than this!!!! Also, guess i'm living under a rock cause I didn't know there was a product named WD40 Specialist

It could very well be that this is an accurate test of Eezox but reading his application instructions I don't get the warm and fuzzy that he applied Eezox properly and especially that he left it wet on the metal.

How does Frog Lube do in black powder guns? It certainly looks good for lockworks and outside surfaces...how about inside chambers and barrels? Anyone using it in those locations?
