Air feels a bit cleaner this A.M.

Recommended Posts

For the first time in years, I woke up with a feeling that good things are about to happen. Not gold in the streets; just the possibilities of things like deliberative bodies considering the rights and needs of all citizens and acting constructively, the Executive branch being held closer to the Rule of Law and the delineated powers granted under the Constitution, clear light being shone on the actions of government bureaucrats, and, if we are really lucky, a successful conclusion to endless, wandering warfare.

Impossible? Hell, we elected a REPUBLICAN governor in Massachusetts last night. We have the right to dream....

But Dan has a point. The elephant has stumbled and bumbled before.

They ned to organize and cooperate, and getup on their hind legs and FIGHT to make this a true win and not a papaer victory.

And they need to hear from each and every one of us, telling them what we expect and giving encouragement. Be part of the process or accept whatever happens without complaint or comment.

Faith, Dan, faith!

Without it, we sink to their level!

100% - save the doom-and-gloom stuff for later. Enjoy the moment for goodness sake...

Things are never perfect

In the world of big elections

The candidates and voters too

Are full of...imperfections

But all in all, things went well

No need for tears and sorrow

I'm in a better mood today.

I'll wring my hands tomorrow. ;)
