** WITHDRAWN ** Uberti 1862 Colt .36 6 1/2" Police

Recommended Posts

** WHAT WAS I THINKING! DECIDED TO KEEP THIS WONDERFUL PISTOL.

Not a good mate gun for my Remington .36 which will only be pried from my cold dead hands.

Here it is on close out from a reputable arms dealer.

NOTE: THE UBERTI IS A HISTORICALLY CORRECT 5 SHOT (UNLIKE PIETTA THAT WENT WITH A WAY HEAVY 6)

YOU CAN SHOOT LEGALLY IN SASS. JUST PUT THE HAMMER DOWN IN A NOTCH BETWIXT CYLINDERS.

Here is pictures of mine. Note there is no keyway screw. Bought it, thataway. Don't really need it, but easy to purchase. Keyway slips in and out with firm thumb pressure and stays put.

For those who don't know.

The Uberti is built on the smaller frame that the .31 is built on.

The cylinder is stepped to shoot the larger .380 round ball.

These are nice guns and Crayfish (I know him as Shameless Womanizer) will not steer you wrong.

Good price too.

Alas, I am addicted to .44s.

Otherwise I'd buy this gun!

Hi Shameless -- Hope all is well with you & yours.

E tu my brother. Selling these for what I paid for them. Jonesing for a Uberti .36 Remington. Right out of the box they feel like they have had an action job. Need one more to make a set. You need to fondle one soon.

I already have a .36 conical mold ordered for those pesky knockdowns. Shoot ball on no knockdown stages.

The 1862 works perfect with 15 grains o black. Great for those with small hands or the ladies.

Crayfish

Who is changing back to Shameless Womanizer by popular demand.
