I am on the fence about buying one.

 

I think the 1860 is the ,

Most Elegant rifle ever made.

IMHO .

 

Just have to decide to pay 2000.00 for a Henry Copy.

Or 1200.00 for a Uerti copy ?

 

I like the fact that it was made in America :-)

 

I will open the flood gates and ask for

I had planed on shooting Scotville and then they change the date.

I know have a friends wedding on the 25th.

So I am going to miss shooting the big gun shoot out this year .

 

On another note .

I think I might buy a HRA Henry 1860.

I think she is a beautiful rifle ,

And she is made right here at home .

In the good old USA .

A bit much for my wallet. I'l have to be happy with my Uberti.

Seen one at a LGS, nice looking, seemed to have a smooth action, but was more then MSRP @ $2400.00

That is the rifle that will be bought , next year. Hopefully the price will come down. If it comes down to in the price range of a Uberti, I'll go with the HRA.
