Abilene Slim SASS 81783
"...As of Friday, the average cost for the Royals’ four potential home games was $1,563.71, according to ticket aggregator TiqIQ — significantly higher than the $1,094.01 average for the three games in San Francisco. Even standing-room-only seats at The K were fetching an average of $961.55." The way I'm reading it, that's over $6,000.00 to attend 4 games in KC, or $3,300.00 for 3 games in SF. I can think of a lot of other stuff to buy for that kind of coin. But then, I don't have that kind of coin, so it's purely academic. Tucker McNeely
Some of the Royals fanatics from work have paid those prices for ws tickets. But they go to quite a few royals games throughout the year.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
If it's your thing you do it. The World Series doesn't happen so often, except in NY and St Louis. And the really fanatical fan will be at the away games too.
Shawnee McGrutt
Doesn't cost much to sit at home and watch the games. You have better seats, beers aren't over priced, you don't have to put up with that stupid wave, and the rest rooms are cleaner. I love baseball, but that type of money is better off in my pocket. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Well, hope does spring eternal, and spring is a time of hope. They all start off undefeated. And, in baseball, there are no "'72 Dolphins"

J-BAR #18287
During ALCS Game 4 at Kauffman stadium last Wednesday, a fan was holding up a sign that read, "What do Cardinals taste like?....Kinda like Orioles" Too bad we can't confirm that !!
