Places on TV that are down right unsafe to live

Ever notice that many towns and places depicted on TV are down right dangerous to be in?

Take Cabot Cove, Maine. The murder rate there makes walking alone in downtown Chicago at night seem like a perfectly safe venture. Every week someone turns up dead. Bet the city has numbers on pegs for the population sign. Also wonder how big the mansion is that the undertaker lives in? With all that business he has got to be the richest person in town.

Also got to wondering just where they put all those murdered folks. Coastal Maine IIRC is pretty rocky and finding a place to dig a grave has got to get challenging after a while.

Ever notice that when Jessica Fletcher leaves town, a murder happens near where she is staying. Makes you want to put a tracking beacon in her purse so you know where not to be.

How about "Haven", Maine. They manage to kill several people every episode.

My wife loves to watch,"Murder,She Wrote". She says if she were Jessica Fletcher, she'd be afraid to go anywhere. Also, she'd be afraid to be anywhere Jessica went, since somebody always dies!

One thing I never could figure out... The rate Lucas McCain burns ammunition, how he can hold enough cartridges in his shirt pocket to keep the rifle full! :P
