Boon Doggle
Great photo, but it is crying shame that fire is threatening on of the most beautiful places on earth. Yosemite is one of the few things I miss about leaving California.

Subdeacon Joe
Great photo, but it is crying shame that fire is threatening on of the most beautiful places on earth. Yosemite is one of the few things I miss about leaving California. Not really "threatening." It's burned before, it will burn again. Just rearranging the vegetation a bit. G #1840
The fire looks to be in the Little Yosemite area near Merced Lake. I have backpacked that area many times. It will look different but new green will start to grow next spring.
