Lucky Vaquero
This is my first post and I'm brand new to SASS. I shot my first match last weekend. Many thanks to the Pleasant Valley Renegades for making me feel welcome and showing me the ropes. I already had a 357 '73 so it was an obvious choice for me to find some 357 pistols. I enjoyed shooting them but there were a fair amount of folks shooting 45LC and my SASS mentor (Buck Rio) was shooting 45LC. I also just happen to have a 44mag '73 so I'm seriously thinking about getting a pair of 45LC pistols and switching to the 44/45 caliber guns. If I did that a couple more categories would be available to compete in. Besides, any half way reasonable excuse to buy more guns is okay by me. Nice to meet you. Anvil Al #59168
Can tell you I sell around 20k of .38 bullets for every 1k of .45's If that tells you anything. Think Wild Bunch has help with the .45 rifle market some.
Painted Mohawk SASS 77785
Howdy For myself it's .45LC in pistol & rifle..at a guess in Australia 80% would use 38/357...as for reloading you would cringe at the prices we pay here!!
